Lick Creek Retrievers is owned and operated by Mike and Lisa Vencille. Mike and Lisa have been married for almost 30 years. Their labs are members of their family; in fact they are their kids. They both love waterfowl hunting, fly fishing and working with the dogs. Mike has been working/training dogs for over 30 years. Mike got his first lab over 30 years ago and has had no other breed of dog since. You don’t have to spend much time with him to see how much he loves retrievers and his passion for the sport. Lisa has grown up with dogs her entire life. When she met Mike he had a chocolate lab. Lisa went to her first NAHRA hunt test with Mike and she was hooked on the sport. Lisa has been active in NAHRA and AKC events both running dogs in hunt tests and judging AKC hunt tests.
